We actively encourage competition as it’s a great way to push yourself to the next level. At this point in your journey, you may wish to pursue the sports side of Jiu-Jitsu and compete. All live training occurs in a controlled environment with the guidance of an experienced instructor who will be on hand as you make this transition. Typically, the first half of the class will be dedicated to warming up and drilling techniques and the second half will be some form of live training. With time and practice, our Module 2 students begin to develop their own style of Jiu-Jitsu and are able to test their growing knowledge with regular live sparring and drilling sessions. You’ll delve deeper into offensive and defensive positions and how to connect one technique to another. Module 2: This program builds on the skills, techniques, and concepts that students will learn in the Module 1 program. Once a new student has attended 60 Module 1 classes, they can move on to the Module 2 program. Aside from learning the fundamental BJJ techniques and concepts you can expect to increase your fitness level, flexibility and ability to defend yourself with consistent attendance to Module 1 classes.
